King's Gate Christian School

Empowering for Purpose, we exist to take the love of Jesus Christ to the community by partnering with families to equip the whole student for their individual calling through a rich, experiential education.

King's Gate Christian School serves over 250 students from 12 months -11th grade, adding 12th grade in the 2024-25 school year. Our Surrey Hills campus at Mustand Rd and NW Expressway (inside Surrey Hills Baptist Church) serves students ages 2 - 11th grade. Our Village campus (inside Village Baptist Church) on May south of Hefner Rd. serves students ages 1 - Kindergarten

We challenge our students to try multiple ideas, to listen to other viewpoints, and to create a knowledge base that applies to the real world. Our modern approach values the learning process as much as the results. We have an average 8:1 student to teacher ratio and all of our teachers are credentialed. We are accredited by both ACSI and OPSAC. King's Gate is the only OKC Christian private school that has an ACSI accredited Child Development Center (CDC).

Volunteer Opportunities: 

- Bus driver for field trips (must have a CDL license)

- Gardening in the butterfly garden and outdoor classroom

- Resource room helper to help prepare materials for teacher's lessons

- Guest readers in the classroom

- Fundraising

- Preparing for and serving at our annual auction fundraising event
