Join us for a fun day celebrating our Whiz Kids!
We are hosting an event for our Whiz Kids on May 4, 2024. Last year, we served 821 students from 28 schools in nine districts through one-to-one character mentorship and literacy tutoring. At the end of the 2022-2023 school year, 87% of our Whiz Kids showed overall growth of at least one level or more. A bonus blessing is that teachers, mentors, and families report that our Whiz Kids are more engaged at school, and their interactions with peers have improved. Simply put, mentoring works! We are treating our Whiz Kids to a day at the Science Museum this spring to celebrate their incredible progress. This event is free for our students, and lunch is provided. Attendees will have access to all the brain-stimulating activities the Science Museum offers!
Volunteers will assist with check-in, lunch, and additional tasks as needed.
