Who We Are

As the nation’s largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 6 through 18, in communities across the state of Oklahoma. We develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.
Our mission is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.
Our vision is that all youth achieve their full potential.

What We Do
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma’s evidence-based mentoring programs are designed to create positive, measurable outcomes for youth, including educational success, avoidance of risky behaviors, higher aspirations, greater confidence, and better relationships. We match children (we call them Littles) with caring adult role models (we call them Bigs). Our Bigs share experiences with our Littles that expand their world in new ways.
