Who We Are

ReMerge transforms mothers facing incarceration into productive citizens while improving the lives of their children and strengthening the family bond.

ReMerge began in the fall of 2010 when United Way of Central Oklahoma convened a group of 25 public and non-profit leaders to address the rate at which Oklahoma incarcerates women and respond to HB 2998, which mandates the blending of public and private funding to provide an alternative to incarceration for mothers of minor children.

What We Do

ReMerge is a comprehensive treatment program designed to provide women an opportunity for rehabilitation, treatment, and self sufficiency to insure long term recovery. Services include transportation, housing, and basic needs; mental health, domestic violence and substance abuse treatment; life skills education including budgeting and calendar planning; parenting, employment support and job placement; medical and dental services and health and wellness education; and, support in meeting all court requirements.
