The Education and Employment Ministry is partnering with the community to launch the nonprofit’s first annual toy drive. The drive will begin with a special kickoff event on Saturday, November 21 at the University of Central Oklahoma’s Nigh University Center (100 N University Dr, Edmond, OK) in Ballroom A at 8:00 p.m. The free event will feature a live performance from Motown-inspired band The SoulSations.
Donations will be accepted at the kickoff event. Attendees are encouraged to donate new, unused games and toys for children ages 0-18 years old. Collected items will be used to benefit children affected by the issue of incarceration.
