Thick Descriptions disrupts traditional education to help humans thrive where they are, building better communities. Our mission is supported by three initiatives; steAm (stem +Anthropology), Oklahoma Educators Evolve and Elephant in the Room - Unboxed. In addition, Thick Descriptions has an amazing staff and invested working board and, we are seeking new board members with the following skills:
1). human resources
2) financials/tax preparation
3). fundraising
4). grant writing
Thick Descriptions board members are volunteers and meet quarterly; committee members meet monthly.
