We host free CAMps during the summer, where we volunteer for different non-profit agencies, widows & hospice patients in their homes. Examples of volunteer work include, but not limited to: yard work, weeding, mowing, edging, light house cleaning, repackaging food for distribution, packaging supplies to ship overseas to soldiers, sorting through donations, sorting and cleaning out food pantries and clothing closets, and helping to prepare and serve meals to those in need, painting, and cleaning animal stalls. We take opportunities to share the Gospel through personal testimonies, crafts and story time.Participants must be out of 6th grade in order to spend the night. Younger students might be able to join us, depending on the agencies that we will be helping and as long as a parent/guardian will be attending with them.
- We will max the CAMps out at 30 participants. To sign-up, you must email me to get on the list.
- New parent permission forms must be completed. If you are 18 years of age or older you will need to have an up-dated background check completed.
- As many of you know, these CAMps have always been offered free of charge, so young people may have access to these amazing experiences regardless of their situation. While participants attend free of charge, the CAMps are far from free to maintain. Would you please prayerfully consider sponsoring a young man or woman’s participation in these CAMps? These three-day, three-night CAMps cost approximately $60 per participant. This covers all their food, lodging, transportation, t-shirt, and recreation costs, which is much more affordable than most mission trips. Your financial support truly does make a huge impact and difference in our world around us, as well as in individual lives.
